Over a third of the 54 MPs of both Houses from the four north Indian states of Jammu and Kashmir , Himachal Pradesh , Haryana and Punjab have decided to band together for the development of the region . चार उत्तर भारतीय राज्यों-जमू-कश्मीर , हिमाचल प्रदेश , हरियाणा और पंजाब के दोनों सदनों के 54 में से एक-तिहाई सांसदों ने अपने क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए एकजुट होने का फैसल किया है .

Unlike the U.S . , there was to be no separate citizenship of the Union and of the States and all citizens were entitled to same rights all over the country without any discrimination subject to a few special protections in case of the State of Jammu and Kashmir , tribal areas etc . अमरीका के विपरीत , संघ तथा राज्यों के लिए कोई पृथक नागरिकता नहीं रखी गई है और समूचे देश में सभी नागरिकों को बिना किसी भेदभाव के एक-से अधिकार प्राप्त कराए गए हैं , केवल कश्मीर , जनजातीय क्षेत्रों आदि को छोड़कर जहां कुछ विशेष संरक्षण प्रदान किए गए हैं .
